General Financial Policy

Temple Christian School

TCS believes that a positive and constructive working relationship between the school and a student’s parents, or guardian is essential to the accomplishment of the school’s spiritual and educational mission. The school reserves the right to terminate or not renew a student’s enrollment contract if the school concludes that the actions of the student, parent or guardian make a constructive relationship impossible or interferes with the school’s accomplishment of its spiritual and educational purposes.

The registration fee must be paid at the time of registration and is nonrefundable and nontransferable. The following is a list of some of the items and activities that we are able to provide to your child covered by the fees.

  • All student books

  • Student Planner (Agenda)

  • Music books and flute-a-phones

  • Student insurance fees

  • Medical supplies for clinic

  • SAT testing materials

  • Christmas program and/or parade

  • Elementary awards program

  • Middle school and high school awards banquet

  • Evangelist for one week in August and January

  • K-5 Graduation

  • Senior Graduation

  • Teacher training seminar in Pensacola

  • FACCS accreditation process and fees

  • FACCS teacher training seminar

  • Continuing education for teachers

For all students (grades K-12) the first payment secures a position in a class and must be paid in advance by July 1. This amount is nonrefundable and nontransferable should the student cancel for any reason. If the July 1 deadline is not met, the student's reservation will be canceled to make room for those on the waiting list.

The tuition for the school year has been divided into 10 equal payments. Tuition is due by the first of the month and is late if received on or after the tenth of the month. If the tenth falls on a weekend this deadline is extended through Monday.

Tuition should be mailed to Temple Christian School, 1400 N. U.S. Hwy 1, Titusville, FL 32796. A late fee of $20 will be charged on any school account showing a balance of $10 or more after the close of office hours on the tenth of the month. (When the tenth falls on a Saturday or Sunday, tuition payment may be made on Monday without paying the $20 penalty.)

Students will not be admitted to class if payments are one month in arrears. Students enrolled one day or more of any month will owe the full month’s tuition. There is a $25 charge for all checks returned to us by your bank for any reason. If two checks are returned, the account is on a cash basis. We are unable to accept postdated checks.

Temple Christian School endeavors to keep low tuition rates for the benefit of each parent. For this reason, we conduct a fundraising program and anticipate each child's and/or parent's participation in helping raise additional funds needed for the designated school projects. The school receives no federal assistance - neither is it endowed or supported by any other organization.

No school records will be released for any student when there is a balance owing on the student's account.

All extended school day, and bus service fees are payable with each tuition payment and should be included in the same check. It is our policy not to prorate charges if any of these services are dropped or added after a new month has begun.
