CURRICULUM

The A Beka Book and Bob Jones curriculum and textbooks, written from a Christian perspective, are used. Each student is furnished their textbooks, which have been included in the registration fees. Mathematics classes will use the Saxon curriculum. Students are required to furnish their own supplies such as paper, pencils, etc.

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL – (Grades 7thand 8th) Students in junior high school have courses reflecting the basics, as well as Bible, computer, reading, choir, band, and art.

SR HIGH – (Grades 9th-12th) The course offerings have been developed to provide a college preparatory curriculum for students interested in a four-year college as well as a solid basic curriculum for those interested in Junior College or vocational training.

NOTE:

  1. Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Anatomy/Physiology are considered College Preparatory and strongly encouraged.

  2. A complete course in Algebra I is required for graduation. This can be completed by Algebra IA and IB, or Algebra I.

  3. Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Advanced Math are the normally required courses in math by many of the colleges and therefore are considered College Preparatory.
