"God really used
this Temple Christian in a great way for my life. I had been attending a public high
school for the first two years of my high school career when I decided
to transfer to Temple. I believe this was one of the best decisions of
my life. The teachers are so involved in helping you and getting to
know you on a personal level. You're not just another student in
the classroom.
"The teachers are so involved in
helping you and getting to know you on a personal level."
The school taught
me so much on a spiritual level as well, having a Bible class each
morning and going to Chapel once a week was such a spiritual
uplifting. That is something you will never get in a public school.
I was a major
athlete at my public high school so when I transferred to Temple that
was one of my major concerns. I was worried about the lack of
competition, lack of coaching abilities, and the lack of opportunity
that I would receive by going to a smaller school. But I was proven
wrong, Temple gave me everything I was looking for.
Upon graduating I
was offered a full volleyball scholarship, I also was a recipient of
the Bright Futures Scholarship and was nominated for the Wendy's
Heisman Award.
I am telling you
these things not to brag about myself but to let you know of the
opportunities you could have if you decided to attend Temple."
Hannah.
Bio:
I am now
attending BCC with a full volleyball scholarship. I am majoring in
Elementary Education. I have been accepted to Liberty University in
Virginia and plan on attending their in the fall. I am so glad that I
decided to transfer to Temple. I would not change that decision
for the world.

Janelle Humphreys Bond,
Class of 2001
"I remember when I first moved to Florida, I
only had 9 weeks left of my 8th grade year and my parents
put me into the closest public middle school to our house which was
Madison Middle School.
That summer I prayed almost every day to the
Lord that I could go to a Christian school. I pleaded with Him and
told Him I needed Christian friends. The Lord answered my prayer. I
started Temple Christian in the fall of my freshman year.
"It was at
Temple Christian that I grew to really love the Lord and my faith in
Him deepened tremendously."
The thing that meant the most to me at Temple
Christian was the support system the Lord blessed me with. I believe
that really helped mold me into the person that I am today. I felt
overwhelmingly blessed at times to have Godly models, and God-loving
friends. I mean this with all my heart. It was at Temple
Christian that I grew to really love the Lord and my faith in Him
deepened tremendously.
Even now, in hard times I can still cling to
those life changing moments that I experienced and also several years
later, I still have a great support system to fall back on."
Janelle.
Bio:
I graduated from Tennessee Temple University
last May with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration
on Women’s ministry. The Lord showed me at college what He wanted me
to do and gave me the passionate desire to work in women’s ministry. I
also have a deep burden for girls that have been emotionally,
physically, and/or sexually abused. Therefore, my future goal is to go
on and get my masters degree in Counseling.
Last June I married Brian Bond. His desire is
to also serve in the ministry so we are working toward the finances to
allow us to go back to school, so that we can earn our masters
together and to serve the Lord together as a team, and as a family.

"I thank God for
the Correll family that they had
the foresight to
begin such a ministry as Temple Christian School. Going to a Christian
high school allowed me to surround myself with good Christian friends
and ultimately made it easier for me to follow God’s will for my life.
I
learned so much about the Bible and different biblical principals that
I apply to my life still today. I really appreciated the education
that I had the privilege of obtaining by going to a Christian school.
Not only did I get to learn about our forefathers and how this country
was built by God’s hand, I also learned about the many historical
figures in the Christian faith.
"Being surrounded by godly teachers
that actually love you & want the Lord’s will for your life, is an
irreplaceable token that I will forever cherish!"

Looking back I
can see that my four years at Temple Christian School have helped shape me into the person
I am today.
Temple Christian's
staff is extremely dedicated, both inside and outside of the
classroom, and are willing to help their students with any matter.
They touched me in so many areas of my life, not just academically.
Friends I made at TCS were not only students, but teachers. Temple's
staff seems overqualified at times as they met and exceeded my needs.
"Temple Christian's staff is

willing to help their students with any matter."
The Bible classes
and the chapel messages spurred me on spiritually, and at times were
exactly what I needed to get me through troubling situations.
Matt.
Bio:
I am entering my third year at Pensacola
Christian College with a major in missions. I am praying about
missionary aviation and would like to go to Papua, New Guinea within
the next five years.

Rene Hutchinson
Class of 1999
I began my eighth grade year at Temple in
1994 and graduated in 1999 as the Salutatorian of my class. I
played volleyball and was captain of the team my senior year.
One course that was offered then that I loved was Auto Shop. I
took that class three years in a row. Temple was much smaller
then but the teachers were very involved in our lives, and dedicated
to our learning and spiritual development. They truly showed
Christ's love for us.
"... the teachers were very

and dedicated to our learning and
spiritual development.

us."
It's that environment that has brought me
back to Temple Christian School. I am teaching Empowerment and
coaching Junior high Volleyball while finishing my degree in
Education. I married my high-school sweetheart, Brian, who was
Temple's first graduate. Together we have a two-year old
daughter. I love Temple and all that it stands for. I am
so proud to say I work here!
